Meet the Team

VICKY GALINDO | Program Associate

Vicky Galindo is currently serving as head coach at West Valley College, member of the Chicago Bandits National Pro Fast Pitch team, and member of the USA Softball National Team. Born in Union City California, Vicky is a 2004 UC Berkeley graduate.

Her experience spans from a successful collegiate career at Cal to the National Pro Fast Pitch League, to the USA National Softball team and the Olympic Games. As a member of the USA National Team, Galindo represented the United States during the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China where she won a silver medal. She was also a member of the national team for the 2007 World Cup and Pan American Games.

Galindo helped guide the national team to a gold medal at the 2006 World Championships that were held in Beijing. In 2005, she earned a gold medal at the Pan Am qualifier and helped the team to a silver medal in the inaugural World Cup.

Among her many accomplishments, Vicky enjoys volunteering and engaging in many community programs. In 2009, Vicky joined TLC for Kids Sports as Program Associate, where she continues to inspire young children to play team sports.
