Meet the Team

BRENT JONES | Board Member

Brent Jones has been an Officer and Board Member of TLC for Kids Sports since its inception. Among his many notable community based activities, Brent serves on the Board of the Stanford Hospital Stroke Center and as a Board Member for the National Hockey League’s San Jose Sharks.

Brent played 12 years in the National Football League, including eleven with the San Francisco 49ers, where he was a four-time All-Pro performer and three-time Super Bowl champion. He has been inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame for both Division I and Division II. While playing in the NFL, Brent received the City Team Ministries “Good Samaritan” of the Year award which is given annually to the NFL Player who most exemplifies outstanding character in the home, on the field and in the community.

Shortly after his playing career ended, Brent became an analyst for The NFL Today show on CBS Sports from 1998–2006. He continues to be a favorite guest on the KNBR 680AM Radio show throughout the year. Brent holds a BS in Economics from the University of Santa Clara.
